My DVR keeps turning itself off then back on, what gives?

Make sure you are using the card that came with the unit or a recommended card. Using a card that is either too high in memory or too low or the wrong class can cause this problem. It can also be something as simple as the plug came loose due to vibration of the car. Make sure all plugs are attached correctly.
